WHY would 1+3 be up, and 2 back, in a slow descent, rather than have all 3 set evenly?
(shhhh, don't tell him, let's see if he can figure it out).

Well, I got to unexpectedly meet EB the other night. His wife was on our flight, and he was picking her up. He was friendly, even offered to give us a lift to our hotel when he saw us waiting for our van (which we politely declined). And he didn't say bub about my orange lanyard.

A LCA told me a few weeks ago that the company has had 6 probies not make it through OE in the past two years company wide. He only knew the specifics of 3. A dude on IOE showed up late for pickup 3 mornings in a row. Another showed up late one day...the next day he showed up on time but unshaven and smelling of beer. Another had a bad attitude the LCA's didn't think they could ever fix...he had been repeatedly counseled in sim training for the 'tude. He also mentioned that training failures are rare, but do happen. At least 2 haven't made it through sims in this hiring wave.

You're right, should have taken him up on it! Would've had a much better story. Didn't see his car, he was dragging bags to the garage and happened to pass us.
