Doubt it is any where near a third....the only Horizon FO's that get hired are Legacy brats or they can check all the "boxes"

What is a "legacy brat"? Not familiar with the term..

So if mainline starts taking flying back , what does that mean for the guys that are just hitting the 1500hr mark . Will that mean those guys will now need say 3000 hours just to be competitive and get hired vs 1500 at a regional ?

Regionals can even fill their classes right now. Takes a heartbeat to get an interview at regionals.

Not likely, though what could trigger that is a repeat of 2008-2009 where we see a recession and retirement age adjustment at the same time.

Mainlines take back flying = mainlines increase hiring = attrition increases at regionals = regionals hire/shrink/shut down.
