The guys getting FPL over at DALPA HQ will carpool over with a bunch of proxies, all the while getting paid by us. That's the difference. They will be getting paid to go to the recall meeting. Presumably they would be in the office anyway.

If I was a less scrupulous bureaucrat getting FPL, I'd damn well want to avoid a recall so I could stay on the DALPA teat, too.

And the fact that it's on a Friday of a 'Holiday Weekend' will make it nearly impossible for any of us commuters to get on a flight to/from ATL to make the meeting.

Brilliant scheduling, if you wanted a low turnout, full of local Yes Men only.

I hope you were looking in the mirror at yourself when you wrote that drivel.
Which one of the "yes" men on FPL are you?

No...

I chose the PILOTS over politics.

Which is what DALPA should have been doing this entire time.

If I were to bid ATL to participate in the turnover, when would my C44 membership go into effect? Date of bid award or the conversion date?

Do you happen to live closer to ATL than your current base assignment? If so, you need not wait for conversion. You may request C44 affiliation.

Unfortunately no. I am considering it for seniority and schedule.
