You have a pretty low threshhold for humor. I guess fart jokes have you rolling on the floor?

If you guys want to shout down views that differ from yours then have at it, but this place will be pretty boring if you only have one side of the argument. You don't convince people of anything by doing that. But whatever floats your boat I guess. I don't like this thing either, but I wm willing to listen to what the other side has to say. ymmv

I wonder if the union even though to say " ok the sick calls are up 30%, thats great, that means we have 30% fewer pilots going to work sick.

Even our union assumes they are all sick abusers! Actually, its very probable that our sick policy is keeping pilots who ARE sick out of the cockpit.
If 12 people abused sick leave before, 30% more is a total of 16 pilots. When trying to determine the reasonableness of the TA sick changes, do not correlate a 30 PERCENT ALLEGED increase of "abuse" with 4,000+ (33%) of pilots PAYING THE PRICE for the abusers.

Really tsquare? You would question the humor level of a guy who chooses Carl Spackler as his screen name?

I love fart jokes.

I don't think anyone is shouting anyone down here. What is happening is some strong scrutiny of everything that is posted. The pretenders generally can't hang because they're not telling the truth. Eventually, it shows.

I am too tsquare. I'm also willing to post the facts when they're wrong, and apologize for when I'm wrong.

Wow, breaking one post into 2 to respond separately. I am flattered.

Your disciples are shouting down those that don't agree with their POV Carl. I know you don't see it because you are too close to it, and again I don't care, but it really dilutes valid argument. Like I said, have at it if it makes you feel better, but I find the constant referral to FPL (for one) as extremely boring and irrelevant. If you are as unemotional and logical as you proclaim you are you would stop the childish behavior and simply state facts, but you don't do that either. Again, do as you wish. You don't change minds with that tack though.

Is it possible we have 30% fewer pilots showing up to work sick?

P.S. Here, pull my finger

I have no idea. Could/would/does this TA have anything to do with that?

Yes, the company is saying that our sick time was up 30% since this contract. Thats the excuse for all the changes. I would have expected the union to assume thats because people are no longer flying sick.

Carl

No Carl. That is not the case. Everything posted has been was and is the truth of the TA as it stands today. Your incessant haranguing, harassing and bullying shuts down all opinions.

You broke three of my posts into nine. Nine separate posts and non factually shot them down with rhetoric.

Not a single fact.

Moreover, you accused me wrongly of being someone I am most definitely not. That, is lying. Plain and simple. Even when called out by a mod you pivoted to a non point.

Your post rate is maniacal. It isn't healthy.

I'm glad you feel as though you are the defender of all that is good. But the truth is, and everyone on here knows it is that you are an obsessive compulsive bully who thrives on non-fact based dissent.

Nobody here could possibly voice a positive opinion about anything in this TA because you would bully them into silence.

Have fun with your imaginary kingdom.

Not sure why you asked me that question to begin with. I have not made the argument for or against the TA based on that assertion at all. It really doesn't matter whether or not I believe it is a fact or not. What matters is how I (or you) feel about the changes to our sick policy. Frankly, the potential for third party involvement worries me quite a bit. Dr Faulkner is a good man and I trust him very much. What about his replacement? It seems to me that there is no protection against a third party head hunter group, and that concerns me. That and I really don't think it wise to sign away HIPPA rights. I need more information though.
