No B scale on the e190/5. They are DC9 replacements, we will be getting more. 20 is too few unless we take back e170/5 flying as well and make them a common fleet. The fleet needs to be in the 50's to be efficient. This is where new captains will be going and with seniority list movement no one will stay in this seat. This plane should pay DC9/717 rates.

NO B SCALE.

ANALYSIS: Delta Adds the Embraer E190 to its Fleet

The last section of the story is telling.

Tim....it is clear from the ta language what you suggest is exactly the target of the company.

unfortunately dalpa failed to point out to the company they ALREADY have the solution to this problem.

staff the freaking airline adequately.

Sure seems like it would have been a great time to step away from the negotiating table and rerun the numbers.

I have no clue. You'll have to ask the NC at a road show. I can't speak for people in the room. Sorry.

If you have a ta question I'll try and help.

But those on the bottom (a staggering number with all the latest hiring...though many can't vote) make IDENTICAL concessions for WAY less money. Of course, they also make GREATER concessions for items like the LCA OE line pulls.

This contract is amendable is 3 short years - before retirements even kick into full gear. High-end pay numbers are irrelevant to all but a few, but they seem to be the prime focus of the MEC.

Not that I know of. But since pay rates increase proportionally year over year, the relative percentages will all be the same. Just not the numbers.

What kind of release is required if we're out for more than 24 days of any rolling 360?

Third time asking.

And who do we submit the release to?

I'm voting NO because I do not believe we got all we could get out of a company that is going to make more in this quarter than the entire value of this TA over 3 years!

We were raped in bankruptcy, there is no other word for it. We lost 42% of our pay, many of our QOL benefits, and all of our retirement. About 1400 guys were furloughed. Many guys lost their houses and/or got divorces and there were 8 suicides. If you weren't here for all of that, I can see where you might not be as PO'd as the rest of us who had to live through that.

The only reason we got Profit Sharing in the first place was due to the Billions we gave the company in making those sacrifices.

We have been slowly clawing our way back ever since then, but as you saw in 2012, and now in this POS TA, our MEC is constantly trading away stuff we have already negotiated for, for pittance raises of 3%. We are still today, 18% BELOW our 2004 pay rates, AND our Retirements are severely underfunded!

This company is now making BILLIONS! Some of that BILLIONS is OUR RETIREMET money and OUR PAY CUTS and the JOBS LOST with PBS bidding and the rest of us flying 87-92 hours a month!

GIVE US BACK OUR MONEY FIRST!

Then you can "Reward the Shareholders".

Thanks Tim, I think the senior Captains are going to be the deciding demographic on this one. After reading your comments I think we might have a chance in making history and sending this anything but historic contract back.

I can only hope.

And who do we submit the release to?

I told you I would ask. As well as Everest.

Release specifically covers the sick incident itself. It is not a general release of you medical records.

We asked the company and the answer is DHS. Not a third party.

Hope this helps.

Everest, I'm still waiting to hear about your questions.

I would think the Senior Captains would be more concerned with the fact that the TA completely failed to address insurance premiums now and in retirement. A few quid after taxes won't even come close to making up for that.

Prof,
I think your sentence isn't complete. It should say "We asked the company and the answer is DHS. Not a third party...until the ink is dry on the contract...suckers."

Now I know that sounds smarta$$, but, personally I think that is the whole answer.
