I doubt they are the same F/Os. The problem is this LCA bidding change affects every F/O and I can't believe any F/O would be willing to sell their seniority for an 8% raise.

The MEC Chairman can approve... an international partner carrier.. to use the Delta livery, markings, brand name on their aircraft.
...So Virgin Atlantic or China Southern can call themselves Delta, and paint their aircraft as such, and sell tickets using our brand, simply by His approval. Shanghai hub makes a lot more sense now. We just won't be flying it!!!

Delta press releases includes the statement "Additionally, this accord would secure additional career advancement opportunities for Delta pilots while providing the airline with productivity enhancements and further fleet flexibility across the airline's U.S. domestic system."
What are the "career advancement opportunities" Delta just announced that this accord willl afford pilots? Any chance these are management positions for some of the Yes MEC voters? I'm not seeing any other advancement happening out of this contract...

International investment and outsourcing. All JV partners owned up to 49% and add new ones.
Result: Delta tickets are not Delta tickets but are Delta profits.

Maybe the ones you're flying with, but 10 years ago myself over 1000 others were on about year 4 of a 100% pay and bennies cut. So no, not the same ones. Had bigger fish to fry than "whining" about being FOs. Also still can hold a line in the left seat, but thanks for your concern.

When will that happen?
How much is 12% of your pay this year? How far behind were you last year? Didn't we start negotiating at the same time in 2012?
It will be nice if you guys for once lift the bar instead of undercutting people until they fall behind you. SWAPA plus....we're counting on you!

This is from UBS:
During C2012 many on this board were advocating waiting for SWAPA. They've waited 3 years and are already 12% behind us in total comp. FedEx and UPS, the other two carriers that have been consistently profitable and in negotiations haven't raised the bar either.
Why are they so delayed?
The ugly: big labor ask coming
SWAPA (pilots union) leadership sees its members as ~12% underpaid relative to current DAL/AAL contracts, and ~20% underpaid relative to tentative agreement (TA) with DAL pilots that (if ratified) would raise base wage rates but scale back profit sharing. SWAPA leadership sees a 15% base wage increase with modestly higher profit-sharing as minimum to get a deal done, and believes management's expectation for an overall cost-neutral labor deal is unrealistic. Remuneration appears to be only
major sticking point with work-rules and growth appearing to be of secondary concern.During C2012 many on this board were advocating waiting for SWAPA. Uhhhh, because they have more respect for their profession/dignity than to accept "cost neutral" offers during the good times.
Next question- "Yeah? How's that working out for them?
Answer- not too well for them, but with our profit sharing, we will do better without accepting the QOL concessions for an 8% pay raise and reintroducing labor risk to our stock valuation.
