"If we have to go missed approach, we will just pull the nose up, cut both engines, roll it inverted and pull..."
There was Zero preparation of the battle field here, and they can't claim they didn't know it was coming, like they did for the rushed C2012 contract. They KNEW when the amendable date was and they knew when we were going to exchange openers. What they didn't do was to tell this pilot group how many Billions of Delta's record "Earnings" were actually derived directly from our Bankruptcy Pay Rates and lost DB funding!
Then, they violated the number one request of every pilot's survey;
"DON'T TOUCH PROFIT SHARING!"

But the 50 seaters are dying on their own and the TA adds more large rjs. If voted down the result will be much lower than 425 just due to market forces. The regionals can't staff the new large rjs at this time so that's why this ab anitio language is in there. Train guys from zero and you have a slave for life willing to constantly lower the bar. It's been happening in Europe for years now. Don't fall for it!

Not sure I understand what you're asking?
EASKs go away. We will now use aircraft block hours.
Gauge will no longer be a factor.
Like the groundskeeper pointed out - a Delta Cessna will equal an AF/KLM A-380.
The "conversion" was only for purposes of clarity in the debate and they used our current fleets. A moment in time snapshot.
We are supposed to be flying 53% of the block hours. We now fly 51.
The new agreement takes it down to 49.
In the future they could pull all the 7ERs off the Atlantic and start flying Cessnas.
My question would be ===> what's the payrate on that Cessna?

Because we are supposed to be flying 50% already, although we got rolled when we allowed 50% to be defined as 48.5%.
Where does the 67% block hour number come from then? Even if thats with VA added in, the split with VA would have to be enormous (and in our favor) to put the entire trans Atlantic at that number.
Right now we currently fly 67% block hours and that is beause of the EASK measurement methodology. If we abandon EASK and only go for a pernamant 49/51 reset (in management's favor, once again…WTH by the way?) then how low can our 67% go, including AF/KLM and VA total?

Just FYI:
The combined average seats on the international fleets of AF/KL is 342.5 per aircraft.
The combined average seats on the international fleet of DL is 255.5 per aircraft. This number will decrease going forward with the retirement of the 747.
With block hours, our JV partners will be carrying about 40% more passengers on the JV than Delta.

OK, I think I saw that in the event of being on SC and not used we will get one hour of credit, really? How about a full day's credit (5+15?) At least 4+15. It's not my fault I didn't get called, I was ready for the full 12 hours. And I couldn't drink a beer for the previous 8 hours. If I misunderstood that provision sorry for the rant but I have yet to understand why SC is not credited for reserve guarantee. Harsh away.

No, I think their Plan B was,

Pilot: "They're landing to the east, atc said 8L."
NC: "This will be a visual backed up by the ILS 27L, minimums don't apply, speed is whatever atc wants, highest threat is the people in the back."
Pilot: "But they're landing to the east, 8L."

This Sir is a complete failure by ALPA to develop a national airline pilot policy that looks forward more than one contract at a time. There is no long term strategy. Senior guys within ALPA serve management while serving themselves.

C2015 Negotiating Transcript
Management: We want to get out from under our lack of compliance on the AF/KLM JV by swithcing to block hours.
DALPA NC: What will you give us in return?
Managment: .05 cents in per diem
DALPA NC: That sounds fair. Deal.
Management: We want more 76 seat jets for DCI.
DALPA NC: What will you give us for that?
Management: 15 minutes of vacation. Pay, no credit.
DALPA NC: Wow! you are generous today! Deal.
Management: We want to downgrade your sick leave you paid for with massive concessions in C2012.
DALPA NC: What will your give us for that?
Management: 1% increaase in DC. In 2017, we are a little short on cash right now after giving the shareholders billions.
DALPA NC: We understand and agree. The line pilots will love this.
Management: We want to take away hundreds of trips each month from the first officers by not releasing the LCA trips for bidding.
DALPA NC: What will you give us for that?
Managment: We will talk more to the hotel committee. Promise.
DALPA NC: Holy smokes! That is awesome. This is like taking candy from a baby. We truly are a team here at Delta.
