As a P2P volunteer, I am sure you would have been paid FPL and required to be at the meeting regardless if you were posting here. Right?

I have no problem with this, and I appreciate you informing the group for those who cannot be at the meeting in person. I can only assume that you are passing along information, verbatim from the NC as it is told to you. Again, no problem.

My issue is with the costing model, and its failure to recognize that at least half of the airline is affected by the LCA change in some capacity, except the very most senior FO's who retain the right to bid with LCA's when nobody else does.

I also have issue why we are taking concessions on an item we clawed back from the company when we released FO's from recovery flying. Things like this are almost never given away by the company, and we shouldn't either. If the NC wanted to give this away, a far higher pay rate might have blinded some to the change, but they didn't.

What was the result of the JV changes?

Any idea where the votes are now (obviously there are some diehard "yes" and "no" voters)? How many swing votes and where are they leaning? Any ideas?

There are 19 voting reps. 10 yes votes would send it to memrat in a senatorial vote (1 rep = 1 vote). Technically it could go to roll call (1 rep = the number of pilots he represents) but that is highly unlikely IMO.

No clue which reps are leaning which way.

What also doesn't take place until Jan 1, 2017 is the 1% DC increase. The sick leave changes not only take effect immediately but are also retroactive.
I read as no change to 2016 payout (Feb 2016) and based on 8% higher rates for last few months of 2015. Then reduced rate for 2017 payout (Feb 2017) but based on 14% higher rate than now throughout 2016. Is that wrong?

I don't know. Have emailed both and only got one short, cryptic message back. I know they are both really busy. Not sure what it means but they both know where I stand. I said my input was they should vote NO early and often!

The costing has been done. I asked and the answer is that individual costing items are a closed-session item. The total value of TA is open.

Also a valid point. It is a concession in negotiations. Please talk to your reps.

The description JV language is being reviewed for publication. We reviewed this morning and the explanation for the change in calculation and look back. Sorry for the delay.

That's how I understand it. Index is correct that the extra 1% would go into effect on 1/1/17

That's the way I understand it as well.

I've been so stunned by this capitulation, nay, sell-out that I've been unable to post.

But sick leave investigation back to 2012? This truly is historic! Retroactive Concessions?! This HAS to be a first!

Very happy to stick with our current agreement and go from there. Be Not Afraid.

What is also disturbing is that sick leave will have a look back to 2012 if this TA passes. That will cover 2 1/2 years of our current contract. Talk about negative retro.
