I've heard from a number of sources that getting your days paid back on reserve is something the company has wanted to do away with. I've heard they want to pay 2X pay above guarantee with no PB days for reserves. That would basically stop rolling thunder, but not force them to cover trips using GSWC.

Concessions are good! Think of the increase in profit sharing! Oops we reduced that again.
But the survey said to keep or increase. Yeah but the line pilots are stupid. We know better.

Not trying to lower expectations, but to the contrary. Our current contract will serve us well through the summer. Why the rush? Will the 717, oops airbus deliveries this time stop? We aren't amendable until the end of the year. Let's take this up in the fall and see where we are in Q3.

It would be interesting to compile all the "rumors" everyone has heard, and compare them to the TA when it comes out to see how close they actually came.
When I read the C1 newsletter this was the first thing I thought of... These rumors tend to be in the general, without a lot of specifics. What metric will be used to determine if the alleged rumor was in fact close enough to what came out in the end...
So far we have:

What did I miss. This will sure to be cataloged for the next time we have a contract negotiation and the usual suspects with through them back and forth. Lets set the record straight now!

Lewis and Bartels. They screwed up the bankruptcy negotiations, they screwed up the JCBA negotiations, and they screwed up the SLI negotiations. Now they act like they are a couple of geniuses. What a pair.
