Frankly, I don't know why anyone would blindly trust an organization that has proven time and again its interests are not necessarily aligned with the Delta pilots' interests.

When it comes to DALPA's performance, transparency, and accountability...I'm skeptical of anyone who's not skeptical of them.
Come on PD, everybody knows those chillaxin at club ALPA are here for the line pilot. Just look at Moak, he's back flying the line under a "mature contract".

On another note, better rush to a quick contract (TVOM and all that) and trade some of that profit sharing for a raise before profit sharing takes off upward and onward.

Jamie Baker - JPMorgan
"Today, I think it’s fair to ponder whether Delta might move closer to where others in the industry are as opposed to vice versa. I know you are philosophically in favor of profit sharing but would we be re-missed and if we’ve contemplating a revision bigger formula beginning in 2016?"

Richard Anderson - CEO
"You know we’re in the midst of negotiations with our pilots so it’s pretty mature to really comment on that. But our formula has really served us pretty well. I mean I think that we are working right now on our five year plan and there aren’t very many companies in the S&P 100 that are going to approach the kind of quality of earnings and the quality of cash flows we have with the structure that we have there."

Meanwhile during the historically worst quarter of the year....

ALPA's motto for c15 is "On Time, On Target." We even got a nifty bag tag to that effect. (great use of our dues dollar$).

Why is "on time" remotely DALPA's concern in this environment? Why is DALPA trying to solve RA's problem? Why rush?

"On Time, On Target" parrots everything RA has said he's is looking for with this contract!

Like RA said: Labor risk. It's completely off the table at Delta.

RA does seem to emphasize Delta having the best labor relations in the business multiple times at every oppertunity. Seems to be value with good labor relations not spooking the shareholders.

RA: "Over the long-term our focus is on building a durable business model not just through our margin expansion efforts but also by taking risk out of our enterprise, we have the best labor relations in the industry with a strong paper performance culture and a history of working collaboratively with all of our employees."

"And really what is driving the long term debt target is where we want our weighted average cost of capital to come out number one, and number two, being certain that we have the business really derisked because the best way to provide a long term stable investment for long equity holders is to make sure we have the best labor relations in the industry."

That was my point. Less commutable trips = QOL hit for a majority of the pilot workforce

Thank you PD, for lighting the torches and raising the pitchforks at every opportunity. Without you, I am sure that everybody would be right in lockstep following the Pied Piper into the river.

Again, thank you. You are THE beacon of safety in an otherwise rock strewn foggy return from the sea.

Thank you for being able to blindly follow chronically corrupt propaganda that isn't worth the email it was sent on.

There is an old saying about people that cannot remember the past are doomed......well I can't remember the rest of the quote but it was a good one.

Interesting. You Ass/u/me that I don't read and study a TA for myself. Or is it that you automatically ass/u/me that since it a dALPA produced product it is flawed beyond consideration and that you will just vote no because?

I will look at the WHOLE TA. As a matter of fact, section 3 is the LAST section I look at. Can you say the same thing?

I do not get emotional about the contents of the TA. I vote on its merits also. Now, the sales job leading up to the vote is a whole nother story. Half truths in a lot of case at best, apples to oranges, etc. to be honest I would prefer the TA only with a toll free hotline 24/7 to a real lawyer. No thanks on the fine charts and graphs and "interpretations" from ALPA. My point is that gaurentees a TA pass because enough people only read the propaganda. That is not in the best interest of the pilot group.
