I'm guessing you're Navy based on speaking a totally different language. Our medical squadron doesn't keep the yellow shot cards anymore. I just went to the county health department and picked up 5 or 6 of the cards (to pass a few to squadron mates) and had our medical folks transcribe my shot record. Pretty sure the yellow card is required.

The MTF also needs a special stamp to certify the shot. Before I retired I had to hunt around several clinics to find one that had the stamp; it's not as simple as having them transcribe the data into the yellow shot record and signing it off.

TED74 is correct. I thought we still needed one but in June 2016 the CDC changed its requirements. There are 3 small groups that they recommend get a booster but for the vast majority it's one and done. If anyone wants to get a booster after 10 years, they can expense it.
As far as using a military shot record, here is the official Q&A:
7. Can my military vaccination record be used?
Yes if you can furnish a military DD Form 2766C. Concentra – Hapeville and Passport Health Atlanta can transcribe a military vaccination record to an International Certificate of Vaccination. An administrative cost will be charged to Flight Operations or Inflight Service.

Good for the guys to know. I was hired 2 years ago, and they told me they needed the yellow card. Sounds like the government...ask 2 people, get 2 answers.
