Unfortunately they don't pay for anything. All of it you have to come up with the money for - except the set of wings they give you at the new hire dinner. I fortunately haven't seen a bill for that .

Did you get hired? How did I miss that. Can I dig up the inverted St. Joseph in the back yard?

Unless it's changed- you're on the $3900 training pay until completion of OE (could be a few weeks from sim complete to OE complete). Company provides one set of wings, that's about it from what I remember.

For those on here tryin to figure out the key to getting the invite, I definitely don't know the magic potion. I had people writing LOR's, went to the big conventions, I added all kinds of stuff to my app (vol, mngmnt, extra circular, etc) and one day looked at my inbox and there it was.
For those with the invite do your best to prepare with everything you can find. I have seen awesome dudes get the job and not get the job. They tell you they want to hire you which I believe is true, but you also have to meet a certain criteria of what that panel is expecting to see from you based on your application.
That is the best advice I can give to those trying to get on this side of the fence. As everyone told me, the invite will come, but for those of you waiting I know your pain (app was in 8+ years).
Best of luck to all.

Correct on this. You buy your uniform (vendors have a package deal). Need to get name plates, hat emblem, and one other wing from a company that you have to send a fax to, or you can get from Abbotts for a higher price, but they make them pretty quick.
