I'm at 60% of 7ERB in NYC. On this last AE, 17 guys senior bid off, and 14 senior bid in. If that keeps happening, no one junior is moving up.

Exactamundo. For the last 2 years I've been slowly crawling back up the category list because of senior B's moving onto greener pastures. Then a vacancy bid comes along and boom -- 20 senior guys bid into the category. Please, no more 7ERB vacancies.

Default Class Date question

When you guys talk about a "class date," does that mean when you start training on your aircraft? Or is it a date to show up for Indoc Training? If it's Indoc, how long after that do you start training?

Class date is for indoc. It is typically two weeks and then aircraft specific training starts.

A/c training should in no case start before 7 days after indoc. However they want the students in class as soon after that as possible.
