But it is extremely helpful! Thanks!

So it looks like they are going to 2 classes/month instead of 3 starting in May and only 25/class instead of 35?! That's a pretty significant reduction. Is this confirmed?

Not valid data.

Badger set up the 2016 spreadsheet at a time (end of 2015) when they were running 2x classes of 20-25 per month. So he just extrapolated that out for 2016. When they announced that they'd be going to 3x classes of approx 35 per month, via a letter (email) to all poolies, they specifically mentioned "April" as the month they expected to be caught up to the desired swim length. Badger then adjusted the spreadsheet to account for 3x classes per month, but only input them through April.

So the spreadsheet still reflects 2x classes of 25 per month for May and beyond, but that's simply because there hasn't been any info released to allow Badger insights on how to update it.

No they are continuing with 3 classes a year, with a talk of going to 4. Numbers for the year should be close to 1000 new hires.

Hey new and and old guys, a couple of questions:
I was told if you take military leave between indoc and training and put it on your schedule your pay will be reduce by 1/30 for each day since you are technically on salary while in training. Has anyone experienced this?

Also was told that Delta does not want you to perform any other job duties (such as real estate, small business, consulting) or Military while on rest on layover or while on long call reserve. Regardless of the fact that you are 100% available to meet your obligations. I had not heard this until recently. What are they saying in indoc or in CPO office's.

why would you possibly want to take mil leave during training when there have been pages of people telling you not to do it?

70 per month starting in May will put the number hired for the year at 900+

That is probably a good assumption. I'll bump up May when I get home tomorrow.

Don't do it. You might be screwing your sim buddy over in the process. If you have a fellow new hire as a sim partner and you drop some MIL leave during training there is a good chance that he/she will be rolled to the next class to get a partner. They will get an extra few weeks off, but remember you are on training pay of about $4000/mo until you get done with OE. If you take MIL leave during training, you just might be taking money out of someone's wallet in the process.
