The ER seniority is an aberration. They hired huge numbers into the category last year so the numbers got out of whack. The 88 will remain the junior category at every base with such a category with the possible exception of NYC where it goes back and forth with the 717.

How long will it take for a Feb new hire to get ATL 320?

The most junior on the most recent seniority list is a 05Jan15 hire. I would think it'll improve a bit once we really start gearing up for the new 321s.

If this pilot wants to leave NYC for ATL, do you think that could happen in 6 mon to 1 yr? Thanks.

The first and most important question is if any recent new hire classes have had the 320 as an option. As far as I know, the 320 has typically been the least available aircraft in the class drops over the last year.

If you can get it then 6 months would be very optimistic. Currently, it's a year.

On the 88 717 and 737 I'd say yes

That has been the case since last July, but will be rapidly changing over the next few months. There were something like 30 unfilled 320 slots in DTW the last bid alone. I didn't look to see how many unfilled there were in NYC and ATL, but there were sure to be a good bit more than that.

Looks like most of the slots for the Feb 22nd class have been filled. I was told all but 5 people have responded to accept the class. So even if the 5 she is missing don't respond it looks like no one from the July 1st group will make the Feb 22nd class. The last class does include Endeavor guys but the next class is March 7th and it will not have any Endeavor, it's all OTS.

Cam... This sounds like first hand info from training... Do you have an "in"?

I wouldn't say that I have an "in" but I did talk directly to training and that is the information she passed to me.
