Hey poolies, I saw the thread made it off the home screen, so I thought I would bump it and let you know that the 1 Feb hires have been loaded into Icrew, and that brings our Total number of pilots on the list to 12,989. Still haven't hit that elusive 13,000 and of course a few folks will retire and come off the list on 1 Feb.
We should cross the 13,000 mark some time in February though! Welcome aboard!

The way I read Badger's spreadsheet, 5 Aug will be in the 4/4 class at the earliest. If you look at the red numbers on the top, that's where you compare your number in the pool to the expected class date. Looks like I don't make the 3/24 class cut. Maybe I'm reading it wrong though.
While I waaaay appreciate BadgerNed's spreadsheet, maybe I'm not reading it correctly? (Obviously, his intel is only as good as the info he gets from us but even with spotty info his database is better than the virtual silence coming from Delta on the flow out of the pool.) Don't know about anyone else but I'm confused when I look at the spreadsheet. It says to look at the number of CJOs ahead of you and compare that # to the "street projection". However, the street projection # estimate is a lot slower pool drain than Delta's statement of 3 classes/100 pilots a month.
Are we missing something? Heck, am I missing something?

The big variables in the projection are class size and flow throughs (or whatever the technical term is). For example 3 x 35, if it becomes 3x30 you just went from 105 to 90. Now throw in 10-20 flows a month, and you're down to 70-90.

You should compare red font, black fill with red font, black fill. So, 2/22's class is predicted to have 35 people in it, all OTS. Take that number and compare to the number in the far right column of the hire date and if your number is equal to or smaller than that, then barring a bunch of differments then you should get the call. I think 2 Jul interviewees are on deck currently. Once a class is filled, I zero out the projected number of street hires for that date as well as adjust the hires dates to zero them out if necessary. So, I am still predicted 105 per month until April. After that, I have no idea.
Clear as mud?
Cheers.

Perhaps. I shut it down last year when the pool drained at the end of 2014 beginning of 2015. Then there were calls to reopen it once the pool stated to fill up. I had to shock it and replace the chlorine tabs but it wasn't too hard. We'll see how much info I get going forward. Happy to see all the movement. Hopefully it stays like this for a long time. Cheers.

i think when he says on deck he means the last date to potentially get the call for class.

8 Feb INDOC
I got the logistics email yesterday afternoon. They put us at the Holiday Inn & Suites airport north. Wear an interview suit first day, bring a swimsuit for egress training and get a yellow fever shot. The rest is paperwork just like interview day.
