Ok. Thanks. Good luck to you too. I am just trying to give info that came directly from the head of Pilot Recruitment to some people in the pool since the first month. Sorry our info is contradictory.

Wow, kinda sad that the poolies are stirring the pot here and placing bets with people trying to help them. I'll gladly take a poolie spot and wait for 18 months. PM me with info so I can take your spot if you don't want to swim anymore. I'd love to be in your position and I am sure plenty others would be too.
Totally understand, alot [sic] of my motivation for the post came from the placing a bet and a week or so ago someone claimed they have been "waiting in the pool long enough". It's the name of the game sometimes and I feel people forget how fortunate they are to be in that position. Your guys' time will come and hopefully for all us outsiders too!

Nobody is stirring any pot here except you. (Really? You don't think I want my spot just because I'm trying to figure out when I'll be offered a class?) Where I come from, when someone says "I'm willing to bet on X", and you are pretty sure they're wrong, a common response is "sure. How much?" You shouldn't take that as stirring the pot. You see...there are real people here trying to make some big boy decisions. Decisions such as...if I start this summer, where are the kids going to go to school? Should we put the home on the market this spring and plan to move to ATL this summer? My last paycheck with the military is Feb 1 (or March 1 or June 1 or whenever), will Delta get me in a class by March (or April or July or when)? Or should I get a job somewhere else in the meantime? These people come to the DAL Poolie Thread to try to get some info to answer these questions. The "your guys' [sic] time will come" answers are obvious and not particularly helpful.

I'm not trying to stir the pot, it just sucks watching people talk in a negative tone while there are thousands who would love to be in your position that's all. You all have earned it no doubt, I hope you guys figure everything out. I won't say anymore about this subject.

Guys, seriously. Ya'll need to ease up on the caffeine. I understand the desire to get the latest gouge, and that many life and family plans hangs on the info, but a little forewarning. Delta is very tight with any info. Your entire career here is gonna be punctuated with large amounts of rumors, little to no correct answers, and the eventual realization, that no matter what decision you make, with the best information you can glean, will undoubtedly turn out to be the wrong one!
Once you acknowledge and embrace the information void, your career will be much happier. Remember, don't like the rumor you just heard? Wait a bit, you'll hear a contradictory one soon. The game plan changes every 4 to 6 weeks and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand has been doing for the last several years.

Flow question
Can someone out there clarify who's who in the zoo and how each company's flow works?
As I think I know it...Endeavor pilots are contractually guaranteed an interview only but must pass said interview. Do Compass pilots have to interview? I only know that they have to have a recommendation of some sort from their company.
I'm not asking to start a heated debate on who deserves this or that, just trying to figure out where the large number of Compass flows are coming from since the number doesn't jive with the spreadsheet that's floating around out there.

Could also be that current and past instructors quit. Tired of commuting to ATL without the overrides, hotels and per diem they used to get as SLIs. Not to be a Debbie Downer, but moving the workforce to ATL could be part of this.
