From what I heard from one of the 5/5 yesterday is they were told expect about an April 2016 start date. I know there can be massive training pushes, but sounds more realistic.

Yesterday was 2 mil only, 2 regional guys, and one from JB. Not sure about today's mix, but it's 7 interviewing. Guys being told the hiring is lower due to the massive pool.

Badger, thanks for your work and spreadsheet, it is awesome!!

I noticed you said "endeavor flows" for ssp guys, just to clarify, the ssp guys had to pass the delta interview, so they are careful not to use the word flow. Apparently according to some delta guys there is a big difference between flow and interview, (entitlement, etc.)

Thanks again!!!

Random thought while I'm treading water....
I know the new hire seat lock is 1 year. Does that 1 year lock start on day 1 of indoc, or after LOE, IOE????
Thanks.

First day of Indoc. If you are in the Sept 21st class and you get the MD88, you can bid off the MD88 on the first Advanced entitlement on or after Sept 21, 2016.
Subsequently if you are awarded a different aircraft on an AE then there is a 24 month aircraft lock. However its not a seat lock, its an aircraft lock. Big difference. There are a few clauses to the aircraft lock, bidding for a new category in a domicile (ie they open up a 777 base in LAX, you as a new hire MD88 FO can bid off the 88 for the 777 in LAX if your seniority can hold it) and another is by upgrading (which in the first year haha).

Fixed it for you

You can be awarded an AE before the 1 year is up if the conversion date of the AE is after the freeze date

Thank you for the clarification, that does give you about a 1-1.5 month earlier window to bid off depending on the timing of the AE and anniversary date.

Does anyone know when the new 737 sims will be up and running and when the two sims they took down for Mtx, will be running again?

Are we up to 600 in the pool yet? So if they were to train 100 guys a month that should put a new hire around March for a start date but they are only doing 60 a month right now so it would seem lucky to even start by April.
