I asked this question after I received my CJO because my medical was expiring the following month. I was told it was "no". You do not need to update airlineapps any longer.

Okay, that's what I was hoping. The background check email talks about making sure your phone number and email address are correct on your application, which is why I was curious.

I asked AK point blank, and he said do not delete airline app account. This was July.

NoDeskJob beat me to it. Don't delete your app on file.

AK brought this up today after we received our CJOs. He said do not worry about that wording. They are in the process of changing it or just taking it out. He said if it comes to 6 months you will get a new letter or most likely we will just say don't worry. He said they will not take away the CJO.

8 of 10 got CJOs today. 3 airlines and rest military. Two that didn't make it were military and corporate, didn't get to talk to them and see why. One that didn't make it was his second interview too. We were told expect 6 months. Training slowdown due to 2 sims being down for sim building expansion. 800-1000 a year for forsesble future.

I don't like that our regional bros are struggling but maybe this will end up getting more jobs offered to them at mainline.
That was exactly the plan with the E190's. They planned a fleet of 70 to 90 airframes to replace the 125 fifty seaters.

Nothing is stopping them, even after the TA bombed.

Red,

Who was your "background check" email from? I'm an early June CJO and have not receive any correspondence since then. Thanks.

If you didn't hear anything you are fine. Mine came from the company they said would be conducting the background checks in the welcome packet
