Until compass meets it's annual flow limit, the 30 seats would entail 20 compass, 9 mesaba, and 1 additional who is either street or endeavor (endeavor is guaranteed 1 spot for every 2 street hires)

50 would be
20 compass
9 Messaba
and then with 21 seat left, 1/3 have to be endeavor so 14 off the street.

So if your 30/month intel is correct, it could be quite a while for OTS hires. Thanks for the explanation. We shall see how things turn. All other "predictions" could be just as valid (black swan, training ramp up, and all other conjecture, positive or negative)

I give up trying to predict. (<--more of an affirmation than truth)

What's the annual cap for Compass? Messaba? Confirm there is an annual cap?

The Compass cap is 1/4 of the seniority list per year which is determined the first day of every month. So somewhere in the 120-130 range. Mesaba doesn't have a cap on there 9 per month, however they only have 70 or 80 pilots who still have flow rights (I'm a Compass guy so I don't know the exact XJ number). So the XJ flows should be used up in 8 or 9 months, I'm pretty sure.

That is correct in terms of Mesaba flows. By August or October they will be complete.

The CJO letter is valid for 18 months, right? If the OTS are trickling so slowly, with all the people they interview and hire, some offers would inevitably expire. No?

At that rate I would think so, however they continue to interview 3 days a week so I'm just hoping the "we're hoping for approval to hire 600/yr after the 1st quarter" report comes true.

I'm also hopeful that a flood of news comes starting today from 1st class!

Those guys and gals are so buried in paperwork and all the HR hoopla going on today, I'd give them a day or two to come up for air and let the excitement of starting "The last job they'll ever have"TM wear off.

I know I'm a little worried about this. I was hired on w/ DAL mid NOV last year, and watching just a small trickle of off the street people is not encouraging...

Where did you get this information that endeavor is Guaranteed those spots? All I heard is they are guaranteed interviews, no specific number of slots.
