I have used VMware for years....be careful of MAC OS upgrades. Each one has cost me a paid for VMware upgrade as well. I'm gonna research parallels to see if it's the same...or free upgrades. I'm about $200 ish in for VMware since 2007...all not by choice.

So based on what you've said, anyone care to take a stab on how to rank order these if I'm trying to get to Atlanta soonest? Also, does anyone know if the 3/3 class will have a chance to bid the AE? If the answer is yes, and I'm trying to get to ATL soonest, which of these would you bid?

Seems like everyone keeps saying 88. Not what you want to hear?
Past performance is no yada yada yada. That said, I suspect the 88 is your best bet. I know the 717 is the worst if you want to get to ATL any time soon. It is by far the most senior of the new hire planes in ATL (bottom is a Sep 14 hire). If you want to avoid the 88, I think any of the other 3 will still get you there within a few months.

However, YMMV. For instance, in Feb/March, every single NYC 73n pilot who wanted one got a line (even coming straight out of OE) because there were more lines to bid than pilots in category. Meanwhile, in NYC 717 land, pilots with much more seniority are still on reserve because there's not enough base-scheduled flying yet for the pilots on hand.
