New hire classes in January may very well get LAX 73N since we had 9 unfilled spots last AE. Our category is growing with 900 deliveries and more west coast flying.
As far as getting a line - the plug in LAX routinely gets a line since many senior Pilots bid reserve. This may change as more junior guys come in but getting a line seems pretty easy.

jan 5 class drop
Didn't see this posted anywhere....looks like DAL is changing up the indoc jet assignment process slightly. Friend today in the Jan 5th class got an e-mail with the drop and was told to e-mail in his choices in order. I'm guessing they'll have the assignment done before you show up on day 1.
It still goes by highest SSN last 4, but now there's no sitting through the entire class while it happens. I guess it just got too painful with class sizes of 60+ for the near future?
I'll let someone else in that class post the drop.

Got a call to interview the Monday after Christmas. Some questions:
1. Anyone have contact info for simulator prep?
2. Is sim prep time worth paying for?
3. What type of sim does Delta use for interviews? Round dials of glass?
4. Any advice for the interview?
Thanks!

Well, looks like you missed the interview. The Monday after Christmas was a couple days ago.

They don't appreciate it when you don't show up to the interview, no matter if you have the blue suit and red tie ready to go for a redo. Read the thread even though it is long and often not applicable still lots of good stuff.
