Anyone happe to know how long it would roughly take to bid LA for 737NG and how long you would have to sit reserve to hold the line there ?

New hire classes in January may very well get LAX 73N since we had 9 unfilled spots last AE. Our category is growing with 900 deliveries and more west coast flying.

As far as getting a line - the plug in LAX routinely gets a line since many senior Pilots bid reserve. This may change as more junior guys come in but getting a line seems pretty easy.

Default jan 5 class drop

It still goes by highest SSN last 4, but now there's no sitting through the entire class while it happens. I guess it just got too painful with class sizes of 60+ for the near future?

I'll let someone else in that class post the drop.
Since you know the drop, will you post it? No one seems to be taking you up on your offer to let someone in the class post the drop.

Got a call to interview the Monday after Christmas. Some questions:

1. Anyone have contact info for simulator prep?
2. Is sim prep time worth paying for?
3. What type of sim does Delta use for interviews? Round dials of glass?
4. Any advice for the interview?

Thanks!

BUFF,
There is no sim during the Delta interview process. I HIGHLY recommend you spend the money on a good interview prep (I used Cage and was hired this summer) that will help get you ready.

Well, looks like you missed the interview. The Monday after Christmas was a couple days ago.

They don't appreciate it when you don't show up to the interview, no matter if you have the blue suit and red tie ready to go for a redo. Read the thread even though it is long and often not applicable still lots of good stuff.

Emerald Coast is great prep, too.

Thanks guys. Just the call/email on that date. Interview in Feb. I'll back-track in this thread and do all the reading.
