What does a 5-day trip look like vs a 737 lazy good for nothing trip look like?
Well this atypical but here are two trips of the same pay time on the 717 and 737: (and yes I can find worse trips on the 737 and a lot better trips on the 717 for the same pay mind you, it's just a little fun comparison given perceived rotation types)

Except where noted the rest of the turn times are 39-44 minutes.

Now, I do the 717 flying, I enjoy that kind of flying and the 717 is a great airplane for it. I'd enjoy the other flying too. Pick whatever works for you.

The Bus and the 73 will be similar, but the 320 cockpit is luxurious. The side stick/table combo frees up all kinds of space. Just yesterday we flew with 2 jump seaters AND their bags in the cockpit, too. Network will constantly tweak specific city pairs and times, but the basic construct of 1-3 legs should be consistent.

A Junior 320 trip looks a lot like:
1
MSP-ATL-MKE
2
MKE-MSP-SNA
3
SNA-MSP-BIS
4
BIS-MSP-DEN-MSP
Rarely will you get a trip that is just one leg a day, or just as rare, 5+ legs a day. The A320 front office is nice, and is easy to fly, but a four leg day on the last day is tiring no matter what.
Hope that helps

Just a couple of Delta pay-related questions for anyone in the know:
1) What is the new-hire training salary planned for 2015?
2) Does the 15% 401k contribution start with your first paycheck (i.e. during training), or does it not pick up until you are complete with training?
3) What does one get paid during training if they decide to change planes/seats in the future? Do they go back to the training salary while in class, or do they maintain the minimum reserve guarantee of the aircraft/seat they came from?
Thanks in advance!

2) The company's 15% contribution begins immediately.
3) The salary is tied to being an "entry-level pilot" under the PWA. Any future time you go to training you would no longer be an entry-level pilot and you would be paid your hourly rate for a pro-rata portion of the Average Line Value in your category for each day of qualification training.
