I got picked up in the Dec 18-19 interview class. Active military retiring. For the chart made by MikefromMT we had 7 of 8 make it, but then I heard 2 or 3 were held back due to second day psych interview. I also heard someone say the dates listed for possible class dates on that chart were for Compass, Mesa and Endeavor flows. If that is the case... any idea what a possible training date might be for an off the street hire from 18 Dec? The hiring people were great, but very vague on that when I asked. I heard "late Spring-early Summer", as well as "plan on early Spring".

And...I know some people discussed MSP, but how about SLC? Any idea how long it would take to make it out there, even on reserve? I'm planning on NYC for a couple years on either an 88 or a 717. And is the "plug" the last reserve guy or the last line holder?

Very grateful and happy to be hired by Delta.

SLC remains very stagnate. In fact there have been displacements (people kicked out of the base) on 2 of of the last 4 bids. So with that said, no one really knows how long to get in the base. I know at least 19 former SLC 737B's who were kicked out in the fall of 13 would maybe like to come back and I know that at least 21 people senior to 9700 have the SLC 737B as their #1 choice for the next AE. With the continued draw down of the 75/76 category I would expect more senior FO's off of those aircraft to continue to bid in and make the base more senior than it already is. For some perspective, 2 years ago I was #40 of 100 FO's in the 737 category, today I am approaching #60 of 100. The 320 tends to run slightly senior to the 73 in SLC.

As 80 likes to remind me, that is how it stands today. Hopefully all the people who want in will bid someplace else and all the people who have already bid in will go back to where they came from.

I sure that is what the peolpe below me said when I bid in though. What comes around goes around I guess.

Anyone know of a cheap hotel close to the training center to stay at for sim training?

There used to be a number of crashpads behind the hotels on Virginia Ave.

For hotels, I use the wellesly. Its ok, but it adds up for sim training. The crashpad users behind the wellesly often use the hotel vans to go to the training center or the airport. If you plan to use a crashpad, get your name in the hat early. They are not all created equally.

Good to hear that Feb 17 was filled! Rumor via PM is that Feb 3 will be 100% flow and Feb will only total 14 total off the street. Has anyone heard differently?

Mike, can you clarify your statement about Feb 17 filling up? Not sure what post you are referencing.

I have several friends who interviewed (off the street) early and have not heard a thing. There seems to be a disconnect between what time frame for classes Delta is telling people when they interview and what seems to be turning into reality.

Why tell someone interviewed in mid-December to expect an early spring class? At this rate, maybe they meant spring of 2015!

Widget,
I'm also a bit perplexed by the movement which is why I'm hoping more guys will chime in. At this point it looks like Feb 3 is all flow and Oct 16 & 17 guys have filled Feb 17.

I guess a positive to this is that a few guys with multiple offers may leave the pool.

MikefromMT, it looks like your spreadsheet on page 26 is a live feed, or it least you've been updating it. It seems it has changed since I last saw it. True?
