DAL Poolie Info

Who would frown upon this? You tell the hotel that you're there for a DAL interview, and if they choose to give you the rate then who cares? I would wager a beer that the local hotels don't send DAL a monthly report on who got a company rate and for what purpose.

I showed the front desk my Delta interview invitation... she photocopied it and charged me 73/night.

I was upfront about the fact I was there for an interview as well and the Hilton gave me the $73 rate, it's not a problem. You're not asking for or receiving a Delta employee rate. Hilton is simply being gracious enough to grant people with interviews the same rate as employees.

Been away from the forums for a while. How long are folks waiting for interviews after the email? How long in the pool prior to class placement? Last question. Any corp guys been hired lately?
Thanks in advance!

Some hotels will offer a "Delta interview" rate. There's nothing wrong with asking for that. I agree that acting like you're a DL employee wouldn't be legit though.

I received the invite on 2 Dec. Called within minutes of getting the email. First available was 13 Jan. So exactly 6 weeks for me.
