For what it's worth, Compass will have a partial class in July which will be deferred until, probably, September. After that there won't be any more Compass flows until January.

Are you saying there will be no Compass in July, or a reduced number with the rest going in Sept? If there are no Compass in July, that should move the OTS folks up a class or two.

He's saying CPS will be up to their 12-month limit (1/4 of their seniority list) of ~130 in July. The last 10 out of 130 will be hired in July. However, Compass has been exercising their right to hold back flows - 60 days so far, but can be up to 90 days. Therefore we could expect those last 10 flows to show up in September or Oct. Rest of the year (and probably first 2 months of 2015) would be all off the street & SSP, as I believe the eligible Mesaba flows will be done in a few months here as well.

Couple questions for the pool. Does anyone (specifically those poolies who have moved on from the pool if you're still lurking...) have any information on how long people are waiting between the time they finish indoc until they start their aircraft specific training? Is it almost immediately or is there a wait? Does it depend on aircraft? Will the summer season impact how quickly you go from indoc to training? And...say it is a month or so...do you get paid while you wait?

For my indoc class the shortest gap between indoc and training was 4 days. That was only for one guy, the average delay was 2 weeks and a few of us had a 20 day delay. Not sure how the summer will impact the wait times but I believe the training departments goal is to keep it in the 10-20 day range. Once you start Indoc you become a salaried employee at $3775 a month regardless of whether your in Indoc or awaiting your specific training date. If you are in the Guard/Reserve than you will most likely have the opportunity to go back home and drill for pay while you wait for your start date.

July is not when the flows end for the year, it's when guys stop getting their senority numbers. They will show up in class in September. July will have 20 Compass guys as usual, having been held back 60 days. The number being floated around now is 138 for the year, since our seniority is somewhat inflated right now.
