I suggest calling Crew Resources immediately and inform them you have the secret hiring formula.

Summer block hours are typically 25% higher than Winter block hours, necessitating that many SLI sim instructors fly the line to fund the Summer schedule. Once the current hiring overage is absorbed and the Fall 2019 block hour reduction kicks in, Crew Resources estimates a sustained high tempo hiring schedule will begin and continue ad infinitum.

Slightly more, 600+ in 2019. 80-90 a month at the end of next year. They’ll use per month more than per year. But 50 in December, 40 for 2 months, 30 for a few months then kicks to 90 I believe by mid summer and it should stay there.

The early retirements are about 1% of scheduled. FWIW.

They were good with efficiency improvements. Wider planning by network and making out stations more homogeneous in aircraft type help a lot, 320 and 737 fleet flexibility is something that really helps... them be more efficient.

Has anyone who studied for the JKT using RST found that the practice tests are an accurate representation of the actual test in terms of difficulty?

Instead of using gouge, read the recommended texts

Learn and grow

Or cheat and memorize something for face value and never know the meaning behind what you are memorizing...aka comprehension...a higher form of learning

The practice tests are a good representation of the JKT but they don't help you learn the concepts that are needed to answer the questions. Those aren't easy to glean from just taking the practice tests. I did almost all of the JKT prep on RST in about three weeks. It's a lot, and if you're pressed for time there's some stuff you can just skim, but the job is worth reading the source material if you can.

Or maybe he did read the recommended texts and he was just asking if the practice tests were commensureate with the real tests with regard to difficulty levels....aka reading comprehension...ability to process his question and then understand its meaning.

Absolutely, I've been through all the reading twice already and am going to go through it all again before I interview in December.

Just trying see how the questions compare to the real test.

You'll be good. I would definitely recommend going over it a second time right before you interview. Enjoy thanksgiving (but make sure you can still fit into your suit) and then own that interview. Good luck!
