They commented on my logbook in the interview, I don't recall anything about tabbing in the instructions but they did look at my logbook. However, my interview was three years ago.

They definitely go through your logbooks earlier in the day as you turn them in as soon as you show up. I guess the only reason they'd ask about them in the interview would be if a specific issue came up.

I used these guys and it turned out great. They sent me the leftover paper so I printed off a summary sheet on my own. I know they looked through it because at one point they came out in the waiting room and told me that they were still reviewing my logbooks and it would be another 15 min but then they never said anything about them in the actual interview.

Hello, do any recent military hires have advice about logbooks? I have heard some guys get the total conversion done, and others that simply print out a FHR (for AF guys at least) and their last 360 days of flights to verify recency. Any truth to either of these? Were your logbooks and hours scrutinized?

Where’d you hear about the 360 days of flights? I’ve not heard that before. I was planning to bring exactly what they asked for...FHR, mil flight records (my entire ARMs folder), and my civ logbook.

this is what I went with. Cost about 36 bucks at FedEx Kinkos to get it professionally bound, but it went a long way. I created my own cover page and they put it on for me. As for tabs, I bought the little colored flags and labeled about 7-8 flights that were significant (ratings, upgrade OE, etc).

One important thing to remember is to bring ALL your logbooks. In other words, if you converted to electronic at some point in your career, bring every paper logbook you've ever had.

Definitely want every flight covered, I'd gone back through and put every single flight into the electronic. I didn't really consider that some may not have done that.
