Word from the top, 250 to 300 needed for Summer 19. ~1,000 a year thereafter for as far as they can read the plan. Figure retirements and ~2 to ~4% YOY growth. The network supporting more larger jets than smaller jets right now. Move everything up one. If it is was planned as a 737-800, probably can use a -900. 767 to A330 etc ....

Now if we could just get a couple dozen lightly used 777's from the ME carriers to carry out this process to the top!

This last bid started a long term migration of 7ER pilots to the 330.

I'll believe it when I see it.

It's laughable that bigger equipment is the only way to get a raise here.

True but that’s our current reality. More QOL means more opportunities for GSs (or value your time as you see fit) and now no requirement to accept them.

You certainly seem to work for a different airline than I do. My W2 is triple what I made in 2007. I have moved one step up on the pay ladder. 4% more coming in 4 months. Hourly rate back then was around 160 straight rate and 240 overtime with no PS. Current rate 321 straight and 642 overtime. There is of course more with PS and the fact most guys now hit the 415C limit and many hit it far earlier. Another 16% for a portion of the year. Effective rate for second half of year 417 straight and 834 overtime using 12% for PS plus international pay. Changes in RR pay have netted me another 3 to 4% a year.
Have a friend who was a NB FO in 2007. Made 90K. Will make 450k this year as a NB CA.

What's the hotel that most people stay at when interviewing?
Do they give a fixed rate to interviewees?

Thanks
