Not sure why the "get over" but I also wish you good luck. I thought you were high to even consider DAL given your situation/desires. SWA seems like the best road for you. I commuted for less than a year and hated every minute of it. Driving to work made it a completely different job. I think you made the right call. Or at least the one I'd have made were I in your shoes.
Check back in 30 years and let us know if you made the right call.

Thanks again for all of the help as I was trying to make this tough decision. We'll see how it plays out 30 years from now. Should be an interesting ride for all of us. Cheers.

Is this a joke? Do you know how many people would kill to get an interview invite from Delta and you are willing to "wing it"?
Why in the world would anybody who is serious about landing a major airline job want to go into an interview and wing it is mind numbing.
People do it all the time because they are too cheap and too lazy to put forth the effort and foolishly walk away empty handed.
The interview test portion is no joke. When you see fighter pilots walking away with tears in there eyes because they did not meet the cut it's humbling to say the least.
This is not the type of interview you want to wing. What good is it to get all excited about the opportunity and drink the Kool Aid the day of the interview once you finally get there only to realize you could of been better prepared hoping it all works out.

Good God, it's just a JOB.

Didn't get the butthurt vibe from previous post, but did think it was weird FLY6584 who supposedly made his decision awhile back, was still seeking some type of validation via very dubious and ambiguous post about Delta.. Kind of like your weird obsession with Endeavor years after you left.. Seriously, you've made your decision (weather it was right or wrong) move on...
