Is a first class medical required for Delta? A fellow pilot attended WIA and got an email from Delta saying that the date for their first class medical was wrong. Problem is that it was a second class medical so it would be good for a year vs six months. Do you need a first class medical to have your application reviewed?

Thanks for the info. At WIA someone said that having a first class would help add points when the application is reviewed. I just didn't realize it was required before it can be scored. I guess I'll get mine scheduled so that if I am lucky enough to get my app scored, it will be done already.

You have to understand the concepts of the study guide. If you just memorize all the questions and answers you will fail. It is a hard test for a reason. How bad do you want the job? If you are willing to put in the effort, you will pass.
