Hey, so, i'm getting some activity....
App submitted Feb.1
Internal rec submitted Feb 8
Second re Mar 1
Third external rec Apr 15
Today I get two fix-it emails...
Somewhere I have a gap after HS in my employment that I forgot to explain and I forgot to include a GPA from the first college I attended from which I transferred...
But I'm at a loss for this one:
"...A review of your application has revealed an inconsistency between your employment history and the aircraft flown and/or flight hours logged. This must be corrected before your application can receive further consideration..."
Easy enough...
Stay tuned....

What's the average percent of each class made up by flow? I am truly jelous of those guys, but more importantly how can Delta say they are hiring the best pilots when so many Captains with years of experience cannot even get an interview. It seems a travisty that so many pilots with 10 to 20 years of experience cannot get an interview simply because HR department started a new formula of acquiring applicants. (ie 28 year old FO with a 4.0 will make a better Delta Pilot than 7 years of 121 PIC. I was told by Delta HR guy recently that Endeavor FO's are now being interviewed. I will have no ill will if turned down after an interview, but I believe I and many other regional captains have earned an opportunity to at least interview.
I'm guessing a lot of regional captains are being interviewed by Delta right now. There are simply a lot of regional captains. How do you differentiate one from the other? I was very fortunate to end up at Delta; it was basically good timing. That said, if I were on the outside looking in I'd be applying to every job opportunity at my current company and I'd look up Delta's charitable interests and figure out how to volunteer for every single one. I'd also volunteer for a non-political ALPA committee. Those are easy things that make you stand out.

Question about the airline app process. If I stopped updating it for a period of 6 months will it go active again once I start updating it regularly again? Also if I have delta removed from my targeted airlines then add it again will that make the application active again.
Just want to make sure my stuff is in the pot that has a chance of getting pulled. Now that I upgraded the desire to move on is pretty high and want to give myself a chance of getting an interview.
Have an internal recommendation also. Would it be out of line to have em email the recruitment team to ask that question?
Thanks for reading.

Just a shot in the dark because I've certainly not yet cracked the code on getting an interview; but.... Maybe double check all your hours in types, category, etc and make sure you didn't fat-finger an extra digit somewhere. Another thought...you may want to double check all your dates to make sure the years are correct. Is it possible you accidentally have overlapping dates in different types? You have probably thought of this stuff; but, I thought I'd try to help.
