Regional check airman for 6 years.
Community volunteer service.
Four-year degree, >3.3 GPA.

I totally understand there are tons of well-qualified applicants, and Delta is still taking the cream from the surface, but sometimes waiting is easier said than done!
I am shocked you have not been called, I am sure very soon you will.

Brasilia,

With your quails, just from looking at your numbers, it's just a matter of time. The hardest part is staying patient and refreshing your email every hour! Good luck to you. It will happen.

I also got the email invite with no fixit email. I had my app in for about 4 months.

MTSU that is great news, it must be my BS bringing me down because my resume is similar to yours except 2100 PIC, but my GPA was 2.3. It's the only thing I can figure.

Is your GPA really 2.3. The cutoff is 2.5 from what I have heard. Anything less than 2.5 is not good.

Hello,

My application on AirApps was full of mistakes when I accidently published it. I am not available until March 2016 and I have since fixed all the issues (was incorrect in the system for about 3 weeks!). At what point does Delta score the app? Do they re-score at some point? I have read a lot of posts regarding the scoring but I was wondering if anyone had any insight as to whether availability will affect when an application is scored.

Thanks in advance!

I think you may find that the latter may NOT be true. "The zoo" GPA, meh, but you progressed and rocked the crap out of a masters. You showed progression, learning, became a better student, and grew. IE; "total package".

It seems like a lot of us are all in the same boat. I have met both VP's Steve Dickson and Jim Graham, 4 chief pilots, over a dozen recruiters, Calvin Flannigan who reviewed my app personally and I have been in contact with Arnie Kraby. None of which seemed to help me get an invite. I have had 3 recruiters personally review my application as well and they gave some good tips but didn't get me the invite. I have 9 letters of recommendation and 6 of them sent letters to the recruiting team on my behalf. I have heard nothing but crickets. I was told nothing is a good thing since you don't have any errors to fix but it also means your app didn't score high enough to get the invite as well. I have;

6800 total time
4000 TPIC Time
10.5 years at regional with 8 years as Captain
Simulator instructor for a 121 carrier for 8 years
Tons of community service and volunteer work
4 year aviation degree, 3.3 GPA
Lots of awards and or achievements too

Brasilia, one of these days they may call guys like you, Leer and I but I for one agree that the waiting game isn't all its cackled up to be! Lol. Hang in there and hopefully we all get the invite this year. I just wish I could find out what the cream of the crop is!
