My bad; I definitely was not trying to stir up anything or give the appearance of "insider trading". The email address came from AK himself at the Women In Aviation conference to the room full of attendees at one of several DAL hiring briefings.

Wasn't trying to be harsh with ya, and I guess I didn't realize it had been given out at a conference... But I'd hate for them to reconsider their "courtesy" (as they put it) due to abuse. It's designed to give employees a way to help outsiders... If you know any pilots at Delta who are willing to help you, they should be able to find the email address easily enough.
Again, I realize that my language was a bit harsh with you, and that wasn't my intent.

My rec was sent from a personal email address and the person listed their full name, dates of employment, etc. I would imagine its a quick database crosscheck on Delta's part to verify one's current or former employment status. I would also think it to to be foolish to have someone try and "pull one over" and make a false claim of employment. That would most likely end all chances of getting an interview.
