What?!
So if you're military and you didn't fly on a weekend or holiday, that's supposed to mean you dodged work by not making yourself available to fly? That's BS. How about "my squadron wasn't scheduled to fly on that weekend or holiday"?
Don't think that's common? You should be an SUPT T-6 IP in AETC.

I thought the Cog Test was relatively easy. GTA V had some missions that were way more difficult.

Y'all are reading a lot into this process. Yes, DAL is very interested in attendance records. I was asked about my attendance both in military and prior 121. They just want an honest, credible answer. People get sick. Emergencies happen. If they always happen at the end of November and December, that might raise some eyebrows. If you are blessed with a job that has weekends and holidays off, they probably get that. On the other hand, if you did 3 yrs at UPT and never did weekend XCs, they might just get that also.
As a guy who is in the strange position of having interviewed twice at DAL (both times resulting in CJOs), I can say that at no time did I feel the interview process was unfair or unreasonably intrusive. Tough and stress-inducing by design, and given the relatively minor number of changes made over the past decades, I think they're happy with the process and wouldn't count on significant changes.

Post Interview
Maybe I haven't been keeping up with some of the other Delta threads as much as I should be and I will confess that I have only read about the last 200 pages of this thread but... I am kind of curious about the timeline after someone interviews and is offered a job. What is the typical wait time between successful interview and class date? So you got the CJO at the interview, is there a wait period for the pee test and shrink results? What does the indoc/training footprint look like? Any other useful tidbits those of you who have been through the process care to share?

Alternatively: Q: Do you ever work over holidays? A: Only when the in-laws are in town!

I did attend the WAI but I had already received an interview invite prior to attending to can't speak to if those in attendance have had their app scored higher.

I had heard that it was an hr person that comes in asks you a few questions and they only what one word answeres. I heard you don't get to explain yourself.
1) how many days have you called in sick in the last year?
2) have you ever called in sick during a trip?
3) have you ever called in sick on a holiday?
My friend claims he said yes to calling in sick on a holiday and he believes that's why he didn't get the job. He wasn't allowed to explain why either. Has anyone had the same experience or been able to explain the why to these questions?

For everybody else, keep in mind they WANT to hire you. There are many days where 11/12 or 12/12 are hired. They've been using this interview model for decades and it works very well.

Is it just me or are there a lot less updates on this thread in the last couple of months? It seems like every week we were getting updates on who got hired or not and why, now not much at all. My need for random, near useless information is suffering here.
Maybe all of the forum regulars are hired? And the noobs are unsure of themselves?
My question of the week is: When were the guys starting indoc right now given the CJO? I.E. what is the wait time?
