I see a lot of different answers regarding logging time as an IRO. To date I have been logging all of my time as a 3-man crew member as SIC time towards my Total Time. Does that check with everyone? Has anyone been asked about IRO time in their interviews?

if you aren't the A-code you can't count your 'other' time......well you can count it, and you will be laughed out of the interview and not given a job for counting it.........now if you are talking about your MD-11 job......no clue how they look at that.

What I was talking about was my MD-11 job. Maybe some civilian guys can help with that question? The general consensus I'm seeing as I read old threads is that as an IRO you are a required crew member therefore you can count it towards your Total Time and if you're a Captain signing for the jet log it all as PIC and if you're a First Officer log it as SIC.
I'm just curious if anyone has ran into this issue at a Delta Interview...

I know Other Time doesn't mean anything unless you have the A-code, but I didn't have a lot of Other Time as an Aircraft Commander anyways so I just left it out all together so the question wouldn't even come up.

I counted all my civ time wether 2, 3 or 4 person crew as SIC. My civ logbook was separate from my mil records so it was obvious that's the way I counted it and not a single question was asked about it.
