I figure once I stop logging, I'll get furloughed. Let's call it a twitch.

Smart man. Doesn't matter where you are. If you are young, keep them logbooks updated. You never know.

You could always just buy the flight line per diem report. It comes with a log of your flights for the year.

On the addendum do you only put letters of rec from Delta or is this where you put any letters?

"Delta Air Lines accepts professional recommendations from Delta employees as well as sources external to our company. Use this link to send a request to anyone wanting to submit a recommendation. You must know their email address. The recommender will be sent a detailed email that provides tools to generate the online recommendation."

straight from the ailineapps website addendum page right above where you select "send request".

Thanks and good luck w/ your application.

Crap, is that how my first one happened? That and/or spending money on some uniform pants shortly before it happened. Only to get hired at a place that wore a different color.

There is not FAR guidance for logging time as an instructor since there is no rating or currency requirement that involves dual given. You can log time as an instructor just as you can log time in Canadian airspace or time de-icing.

The usefulness of time as an instructor is probably greater than time in Canadian airspace or time de-icing, however your ratio of LCA time to total time has more to do with your company's growth than anything you do. That's not to say you shouldn't log instructor time; if two guys from the same company have both been LCA for the same amount of time but one has logged his instructor time and the other didn't I'd say the guy who logged his time has a small advantage if everything else is equal...unless his instruction time was unusually low.

I never logged LCA time but I didn't interview either so take my analysis with a grain of salt.

They will all come in handy later on, mine are great, in use, as a Walmart greeter.
