Thanks for your help everyone. I ended up getting a reservation at the Courtyard Marriot that is a few hundred yards north of the Hilton. They did 79 a night. I don't want to bother with a cab/shuttle so I went with this option.

For those of you wondering about the legality of the Delta rate, I asked them if they had a Delta Interviewee rate, and they said no, but if you can show the front Desk your Delta Interview letter at check in, they can give you the Delta rate.

Hope this helps someone out.

That said, I still brought them just to be sure I was covered since the email said to bring originals and copies as you mentioned.
Do they also ask for copies of your OPR's?

You will get a list of all required documents to bring, but yes, you will need to provide them a copy of all OPRS.

Default dirty laundry

Anybody know if DAL stiff-arms applicants with black marks on their record? I have an arrest for a couple of misdemeanor traffic violations from my college days 15 years ago, and have gotten intel that Delta won't call me with those on my record. Had my app in for 18 months, and got a fix-it email 17 months ago. I've gone to every job fair in the last year and have 9 internal DAL recommendations on file. Current stats:

1930 TT (all mil)
1655 PIC (F-15 / T-38)
730 IP
3.5 GPA in History at USAFA
3.8 Master's GPA from Air University
No checkride failures
Community volunteerist
previous 3-year non-flying mil assignment in unmanned aircraft
Current T-38 IP w/ 420 flying hrs in last 12 months

Any advice/insight is welcome! Should I look for a different career?

I'm not at DL, but i'm surprised your stats haven't gotten you a call. I'd say have one of your buddies send the internal email to recruiting and see what happens with that.

This may have been addressed somewhere in this thread, but I haven't found it. I am updating my information on AirlineApps and am wondering whether or not I should include that I have an expired CFI, CFII. I do not currently have it listed, but I have the dual given on my flight time break down. Should I add the information to my profile even though it is expired?

I don't think the arrest will stop you. It happened in college. We all have skeletons. It really depends on how you describe the details in your app. Make sure you take ownership. Don't come off as "I got a bad deal", but more like "I made a mistake at an early age, learned a valuable lesson, and haven't had any issues with law enforcement since". Also, I think the sooner you get over that 2000 hour mark, the quicker that call might come. Are you a mid-career guy or a retiree?

I had an expired CFI rating listed on my app (included "expired" where you annotate the cert number) when I was hired last year. Never came up during app review or interview conversations - can't say if it hurt or helped but obviously couldn't have hurt too bad if at all!
