My application was a convoluted mess of overlapping jobs. However, there were no gaps in employment from college till I got the call for the interview. No fix-it email, just an invite for an interview.

I mil job that overlapped a few years of one of my assignments, and listed them with overlapping dates. Didn't seem to phase anybody. Got asked to clarify in the interview. I think you could do it either way for an extended TDY - either make it a new assignment, and return to the other, or overlap it.

Just curious, what can majors dig up at your company if say you work at XJT, Endeavor, Skywest...

Can they find stuff like your original application to these places, interview scores, sick calls, etc.

No. It is my understanding that a former employer can ONLY confirm or deny dates that you were employed there. Everything else is illegal.

Well, unless you sign a release that ALSO allows them to ask about other things. Specifically, attendance.

Wholly-owned airlines can definitely see your past work history/attendance etc. I've heard of a few cases in which folks were not completely honest about their attendance and ended up with not getting hired.

Just be honest when asked and there should be no issues.

If from Endeavor, Delta knows your history, but they can't use it against you unless you lie about it, or get defensive during the panel.

The SSP is basically a flow with a personality, cog skills, and customer service screening.

Yes I called in sick every major holiday for 5 years. I figure its my time and seniority is hard to come by, you know. What are they gonna do about it? I'm here, aren't I? *fist bump*

Yeah, they could never use it against you.

So basically Delta could find whatever they want as long as it's on file at your last regional? Including letters of warning for calling in sick too much, etc..
