Yes it was. Check your beds (and your rooms)! I haven't had any problems there before, but I woke up and found about a 3-4 mm long insect wandering on my pillow. Checked the rest of the bed and changed beds, but that doesn't help with the heebeejeebies (it was already midnight).
When I got up for the morning later on, I found some more small bugs wandering around the bathroom. Ugh. Gonna be writing that one up...

One of those if you don't it, it can't hurt you thingies. (As long as you can't floss your teeth with it, I suppose).

Maybe this tidbit will help. I read a report a while back that started with: "Find a hair in your food at your favorite restaurant? Don't worry, it can't hurt you. In fact, most people consume hundreds, if not thousands, of unseen hairs and other unsavory items in their restaurant food over a lifetime."

I deserve some chastizing for making a grammar nazi comment and having (seemingly inevitable) grammatical errors in said comment. That being said, that dude's post was beyond a grammatical train wreck! Some do not realize the importance DL puts in proofreading your application.[/QUOTE]
80 Sorry for not using proper grammar typing on an iphone at midnight after a 18 hr day. I hope you can forgive me for short hand texting. I know that if I ever fly with you I will make sure my handwriting is legible and grammatically correct!!

Now that they opened the NYC 320 base, it's not as much for me anymore. I was covering an MSP trip, so.. yeah.
After I saw it, I spent the next hour googlizing bedbegs. I'm pretty sure that was a larvae. I notified the front desk... who knows if they did anything about it. How am I suppose to sip my wine and taste my cheese properly on my airbus if I didn't get a good rest due to bugs sampling my goodness during the night??
(fwiw- the twin oaks was my favorite close nyc hotel up until now)

MSP seems to be shrinking some, but that could change at any moment. Seems like our network planners just shuffle people around on a whim. Good news is that when the hiring starts like gangbusters I'd think you could hold any base pretty quickly. Maybe a year or two. Plan on NYC or ATL (my money is on NYC) for the first year to be safe.

It's a moving target, but I've been here over five years and can't hold SLC. Can only hold maddog in MSP. I'd plan on DTW, ATL or NYC as a new guy. Who knows where you could get with some movement, but with the change a few years back you will be seat locked for at least a year (think 717 and their bases).

The line is getting longer. I know some 08 hires that are still waiting to crack the bottom of the west coast. I'm a '10 hire commuting from west coast to NYC still waiting for my chance. There were quite a few Skywest guys that got hired in '10 that are also commuting x-country.
