I put my bid in for NYC717B and at the time of closing, I was #9 on. That means there will be 21 unfilled slots potentially to NYC on the 717, which could go to new hires. I expect to see the bottom guys in class getting 717 NYC from here on out. Finally restoring order to this bizarre summer when ATL slots were going junior to NYC slots So strange.

Yup thanks Ghilis I could have explained it better.

On the NYC 717B I ony had 1 pilot senior to me bid it but it was third choice. So I expect all NYC 717B to go 2014 hires.
I just did 4 legs in and out of JFK to BOS on Saturday and man was I tired of just sitting on the ground in JFK barely moving with so much traffic. I can't imagine what that place would look like during a snow storm

Funny part is DTW 717 is the most senior out of all the 717 bases. in ATL I would have about 100+ junior to me and in DTW I am about 90%
I could have better seniority in DTW on the 73N or the 7ER

DTW being senior is probably because of the compass flows.

When you find out, let me know. Mine is all part 61 with a private instructor. I haven't received a "fix-it" email to add my flight training yet (I received one for a separate issue) but maybe they will get around to it. I just feel like my app is already convoluted enough. It is not set up very good for what they want. i.e volunteer work, flight training, ect).

Im sure this has been covered somewhere but... do you need to list a speeding ticket from when you had a learner's permit at 15? The state cant even pull up anything from so long ago and I cant even remember the details. Same goes for a couple of temporary part time jobs after high school, which I also have no records from, or what to list when I was bumming around the world for few months after high school etc..
