Delta Hiring News

I'm an optimist, but I'm not expecting anything earth shattering WB growth wise. Hope I'm wrong.

Hello to all. Just trying to find out where I stand on hopefully getting an invite sometime in the near future with Delta.
I've had my app in for 7 years and never heard a thing.
My qualifications are:
6000 TT
2000 121 PIC
Volunteer community service
Volunteer Delta Care team
Mentor program at current airline
CRM instructor at current airline (cannot check the check airman box)
11 letters of recommendation
135 experience
No failed check rides ever
Two speeding tickets: one 13 years old the other 7 years old
I update my application at least 3 times a month if not more.
My main question is are they getting closer to inviting regional guys like me on a regular basis (outside of flow and ssp)? Thanks for all info. Also, feel free to mention anything you think could help.

Thanks for the reply. I did attend OBAP. Thought it went well, but a disclaimer they put out said it wouldn't do anything for getting hired. They mentioned it was all about airlineapps. I'm hopeful it does a little more than that. I know they re-score our apps from that though.

Excellent point. I have a B.S. Information Technology. GPA 3.68 Cuma Laude Deans scholar.
Thanks for mentioning that. No doubt it is an important aspect. Especially for Delta.

Another thing I have done is gone through the app rigorously for grammar and spelling errors - I know that is big with their point system. Also had others look at it also. Excellent attendance record with no disciplinary actions at any employer.

Your credentials look great and I'm sure you will get a call soon. How long it took you to get your degree is also important to note as well.

It's not a game? They are looking for honesty. They really could care less about a ticket 30 years ago but what they do care and is far more important is your honesty.

You noted that you have 11 LOR's too. This could be good and bad, you really have to be careful who writes you a LOR. I have been told that they put a lot of weight on the LOR's and if you have just anyone writing one or even worse have someone write you one, who also wrote another one for a guy that did horrible on his interview, they will view any future recommendations from this pilot very poorly. Make sure you get as many LOR's as you can but more importantly make sure they are solid LOR's too.
