^^^^what he said. Now that the hiring pool has dried up, you aren't waiting as long to get called for a class date. I interviewed 6/12, got the conditional job offer after day 1, we were told if something went wrong on day 2, we would hear within a few business days (in this case, no news was good news), and on 6/25 got the call offering me a 7/21 class date.

Two "fix it" emails over the last two months. No further communication. Hoping for the best, but not quite at the caliber nor as connected as those being called. Guess the only speculation is that our applications made it to the being reviewed pile. From this forum, or what's left of it, is that it could mean a call. Not waiting by the phone though.

Question for any delta pilots out there. I have a dispatcher friend that is trying to get on with delta. I told him after I have some time in, I would try and help him out. He said that I wasn't allowed to because his application was submitted before I was hired, and that his delta friend said you could only recommend candidates if they apply after you have been hired. Does anyone know if that's true for pilots?

Well its not "blocked" if that's what you're asking. My buddy hired in March wrote a good buddy of ours a rec, and his app has been in the system for a year. But like the previous post mentioned, who knows how much weight it carries.

....and the psych aspect might come back to haunt you after your conditional offer. Don't take it lightly. I had an AF-2 buddy who had his rescinded. He's in AA training now.
