Delta Hiring News
#4451
Im with you Taylor, I think people are realistic about the hiring and it shouldn't be misconstrued as complaining. we knew they were initially targeting check amn/IP/EP and legacy/networked applicants. Later on, when I got the call for an interview I considered that a turning point since I was a supplemental 121 CA and mil AC only without ip or check airman time and even then I was one of the few to be hired from that category at the time I interviewed. This should be a positive sign for anyone who feels frustration. The hiring has only being going on 9 months and the floodgates opened in May for interviews, and if they really are projecting 72-100 new hires per month that means they have to interview 100+/month until they shut it off who knows when. To eager applicants, your call (email) is coming soon, and I hope very very soon. The more people that get in the better it is for our relative seniority

What if it (4833) comes with all RJ flying brought back to mainline and a fully funded 415(c) limit retirement? You'd say no to that?

I know your question was rhetorical, bbbbbuuuuuutttttt I'm not sure the super-senior-duper-premium widebody guys (e.g. Carl/Timbo/Finis) would go for that? They're probably maxing out their 415(c) limits now. Would the company just return their personal contributions to their paychecks? My apologies if I misunderstood the intent, but seems like the start of a class-warfare, (Barrack Osama style inequality issue) bigger raises for the bottom.

And why won't you comment on the RJs back to mainline? And what was interesting about your comment vis a vis Carl et al, is that the super duper premium widebody group is very small. They can be run over very easily.... lulz. It is the "sweet spot" that you have to convince to buy off on RJ recapture.
Oh.. and I love the Osama reference nicely done.
