You and me both. Actually a little longer. I got a fix it email about a work history gap...except I have (even when I got the email) every second locked down from the time I was born on there. I don't know what they want or how to fix it and I'm about to have a nervous breakdown. Any suggestions from anyone?

I had a classmate of mine in AOCS who stayed in the Navy for his twenty years. He was hired at NWA and offered a class date which he turned down for a later date. He wanted to take a little time off before starting class. We were in contract negotiations at the the time. Before he started class we signed a new contract. He was in the first B Scale class. A very expensive decision. I am not saying that will happen again but in this career, seniority is everything .

I feel your pain. My fix-it didn't make any sense either. My app is 100% accurate on all work history and flight times.

I have yet to hear of one civilian that has less than a 3.7 GPA get an interview.
The majority of people who have been hired off the street have at least a 3.5 GPA. The lowest I have seen is a 2.5 GPA but this person also had a Masters Degree and numerous high level management jobs.

As a data point I got hired in Nov with a 3.3 GPA. From the outside looking in I know it's easy to overthink what tick gets somebody interview. It's way more wholistic than a GPA or a speeding ticket.

I hope no one ever goes through that crap again, but my two cents is get to class as soon as possible, not just for seniority within a category, but overall.
Couldn't agree more. One number in a category may be the difference between reserve/lineholder (especially if you're a commuter), staying in a category or getting bumped, upgrading to CA or staying an FO, and so on and so forth. Make every possible attempt to get the earliest class date you can without breaking the law.

Can you tell me what other background you have. I know it's more wholistic but it would appear that GPA is a big part of the algorithm in getting the interview. I'm sure there are some exceptions to the rule but they seem to have a connection or a military background.

That isn't true. When I interviewed, three of the four civilians did NOT have any sort of connection. I personally didn't have an internal rec, or any delta connection whatsoever.

I find humor in the fact that we want someone off the street to have a high GPA in their college degree, while at the same time have an exception for SSP candidates to not meet the degree requirement.

Has anyone actually gotten verification about the "vault" letter making this exception? I've tried and run into a brick wall. I know that the E to D pilot program requires all new hires at Endeavor to meet the requirement. That program is making quite the stir.
