Also - in the past sim time was contracted out from other airlines. Everyone if not already will be at max capacity. Therefore no contract sim time available. Kinda makes one question the decision to shut down NATCO.

Of course, one has to wonder why they call it College Park. There's no college and no park either.

Correct me if I am wrong, and I am sure you will. Looking the pay rates on this site, when you upgrade to Captain, you go into the chart at your current year of service? I figured you went to the year 1 Capt pay. Still patiently waiting on an email.

Your longevity remains the same. I do not think we have any Captains who are not at year 12 pay. My friends are mostly coming up on year 8 and barely hold FO on their equipment.

It's because Woodward used to be Georgia Military Academy? don't have a real answer to that one other than I'm moving back to LGC in a month. It's been nice to be 5 minutes from the employee lot. Lot's of new construction and remods around the WA area. The school is also buying distressed property and turning it into empty lots for future use/sale. Note the iron fence around the empty lot behind what is now the Palms hotel.

I'm aware the pay scales don't revert to year 1 when you upgrade to captain. However (assuming upgrade in 10 years and retire at 65), somebody who is 43 when they start will only earn that top tier captain pay for 12 years while a 23 year old will earn it for 33. Makes the young guy's average annual compensation way higher than the old guy's.

Whether one is a captain for 33 years or you divide it between two or more guys, the company is still paying out the same amount if all are at the 12 year pay scale. (All captains at Delta are currently 12+ years)
Yes, the young guys average annual compensation will be higher than someone older but that is not costing the company any more or less.
