7 out of 8 hired today. Congrats. They were told to expect a class date the second half of the year.

Seriously? Where have you been? Member since 2010 with 7 posts? Talk about a lurker....anyway, numerous "off the street" have been interviewed and hired. I suspect you're asking something else however.

HEY! I resemble that remark! Civil Engineering degree...Deans and Presidents list last 5 semesters and I prolly saw every 80s "retro" and college band and drank every Thur-Sun night in college I can remember. I think I hit a zen moment where I figured out the perfect balance of drinking/going out/studying. Never found it again after I graduated....

Civil Engineering? Just one step above Industrial Operations Engineering (IOE) or as we Aerospace guys called it In-n-Out Easy engineering. J/K

Not sure what your school was but mine was U Mich - AA which had a huge international student group and those guys kicked our butts. I struggled through my Aerospace degree even though I was a near 4.0 in highschool and a high SAT score. In contrast I know an Aerospace eng guy from ERAU and his classes/workload is way easier than what mine was. At the time I went through, U Mich AA's Aerospace program ranked #3 in the nation. I paid for that though because my grades tanked and I barely finished with a rounded 3.0 average.
