Delta Hiring News

FWIW, the single DL internal Rec of mine ( an FO) said that you really only need 1 internal rec for an invite, not sure if that's true or not, or what the magic number is, but obviously more wouldn't hurt.
For those submitting external recs (both professional/personal), are you using the airlineapps.com link through the addendums page to send the request? Are the external recs even relevant or reviewed prior to receiving an interview invite?

"Delta Air Lines accepts professional recommendations from Delta employees as well as sources external to our company. Use this link to send a request to anyone wanting to submit a recommendation. You must know their email address. The recommender will be sent a detailed email that provides tools to generate the online recommendation."
Based on that, it sounds like externals are ok as well. Regardless, its the same email link, you either put someone in with a @delta.com or @xxxx.com email if they are external. Good to know.

If you have a rec. from a current Delta employee they need to use their company email address. (I.E. [email protected]) Most guy's never use this so you need to make sure they check it. That way the company knows the recommendation is coming from a current Delta employee

Well after looking into the addendum section a little further I saw this note:

I don't believe the internal rec needs to come from an @delta email. The link for the rec has the LOR provider give their title and date of hire IF they are delta pilots.
I've provided a number of recs and used my gmail.

A pretty picky question, but I'm doing all I can to get the attention of a recruiter. My 1st class medical is good for a year (I'm 32) but I'm wondering if a recruiter looks at a medical that is listed as being 6+ months from issue and sees it as expired? I know that's very minor, however I am going over my app with a fine tooth comb and don't want anything not looking right
Thanks
Thanks

I have heard updating your application regularly is favorable. I would personally update no later than monthly.
Hang in there.
