I put all phases of academics (HS, colleges), flight training (UPT, co-pilot school, AC school, tactics schools, etc) PME and career courses (BS courses like SOS via correspondence for the USAF guys). It education section was like 4 pages long. Seemed to work.

Hmm, now I'm thinking I should throw everything in there, especially since guys that got hired have done it...

Thanks. I guess I should go in and update then. I just have HS, college, and post grad. I thought all that other stuff was understood. I will update it as a "just in case" type of deal. For the Navy side, there are about 20 courses I have gone through, I just need to sort out what is appropriate.
Primary
Phase III UPT (T-1)
Cat I FRS
IP school
T-34 IUT
Catapult and Arresting Gear Officer School
Cat III FRS
there are lots of others, but I don't want to get ridiculous.

Why not err on the side of "too much info" and let Delta decide what they want to filter out? Especially when it comes to flight training and leadership courses.

When I went through they wanted to see the redundant entries. The L1011 Captain who was doing the selecting thought it was an indication the applicant was "thorough and detail oriented, like I would want him to be on a walk around before we flew across the ocean."

Good deal, seems like that was the right way to go WRT the app. I was thinking along the lines of attention to detail. I even made sure all the formatting looked correct when I viewed the app via the Delta Format after it was filled in. I think I will go back and add my civilian IFT training prior to UPT in addition to my civilian hours (not much, only 60 or so), that way it all correlates i.e.- - ATP completed, but no time in a Seminole logged? Under Aircraft experience, it does say "provide all aircraft you have ever flown..."

I got hired in 2007....didn't put anything under education except HS and college. Under professional development I put two PME courses (SOS and ACSC). I put my UPT time under my employment history. My take: it doesn't matter how you get the big stuff on there, but don't go to the ludicrous stage of putting stuff on there that in the end looks like filler.

On the L & G Delta thread:

Someone mentioned 70 a month indefinitely.

I hope this is true. Are there that many pilots out there??

Good Luck and lets pray that these Rumors become Hard Facts.
