The interview was one of the most professional, yet laid back experiences of my life. There is a ton of gouge out there, so use it. No matter what you study, the Written Exam will be difficult - but the gouge is good. Use a prep company, simply for the fact it puts you at ease and gives you practice. I used Emerald Coast as well as Cage. Emerald Coast was excellent for the WWYD questions, Cage was excellent for the HR portion. I didn't get a single question from any of my prep sessions, but after doing the prep I felt like it didn't matter what they asked as I was prepared to answer anything in the format that worked best for the interview.

The actual interview was like I was sitting with 3 guys at a bar telling war stories. It was very laid back and open, and didn't even feel like I was interviewing. Great guys, and I definitely hope I get to fly with the active CA out in SEA in the future.

Overall, top notch experience. I am very lucky to have my dream job lined up, and I couldn't be happier. Best of luck to everyone to follow.
Congrats Lebowski! The pool water is nice and warm. Well done;-)

Congrats, poolies and welcome! I haven't seen anything on class dates yet. Are they giving you guys hard dates, or at least estimations for class?

The first new-hire class date that I know of is January 13th. They are telling guys who interview to expect a class date from January to July.

Thanks for the info. I know a few Delta guys and they've all written nice letters for me. Hoping to get a call soon! Congrats to everyone that got hired!

Do you know a total of "off the street hires"?

Last official word I've seen is 205 off the street pilots interviewed with 150 conditional job offers extended. I have no idea if those numbers in any way include SSP pilots from Endeavor or if that is a completely separate pool of swimmers.

Anyone have an update on the next round of interview invites? Have any gone out yet?

Bring it boys and girls. We've been rowing this boat for quite awhile without some much needed help. Hope to meet you guys soon!

The latest letter from flight ops is that an AE will be coming out every 60 days or so.

For all of you potential interviewees, relax, be somewhat respectful and try to act pleasant enough at the interview such that being stuck in a 4 by 6 cubicle for multiple days on end is somewhat bearable. Other than that, good luck.
